PEAC Star David Miller Plays Big Role in Cross Border Competition
The 96’ Cougar Selects traveled south of the border this past weekend to compete at the Cougar Classic Tournament Series in held in Chicago, Illinois. The Cougars were the sole Canadian team in the tournament and faced some stiff, gritty competition throughout all 6 games. The Cougars managed to claw their way into the finals which proved to be their most difficult test. Down 5-2, the Cougars rallied back, scoring 3 unanswered goals to tie the game at 5-5. With only .03 seconds left to go, PEAC Burlington’s David Miller managed to pot his 10th goal of the tournament in breath taking fashion which ultimately secured victory for his team. David Miller was also named MVP of the tournament for his impressive efforts! Congratulations!
