Saginaw Spirit sign third-round pick Jimmy Lodge
The Saginaw Spirit's third-round pick in the 2011 OHL Draft, Jimmy Lodge, has signed a contract to play for the team, the Spirit announced Thursday.
Lodge, a forward, recorded 18 goals and 25 assists playing for the Toronto Titans last year. The Downing, Pa., native stands at 5-foot-11, 150 pounds.
Lodge's signing is the first announced by the Spirit since the OHL Draft.
