NHL Central Scouting ranked Malcolm Subban, Montreal Canadiens defenceman P.K. Subban's little brother, as the top North American goalie eligible for the 2012 NHL Draft, according to NHL.com.

"He's got some phenomenal quickness, athleticism and flexibility. He's aggressive and consistent," Al Jensen of Central Scouting said. "He can make the big save to either hold his team in the game or to keep the lead. He's very confident and smart at reading plays developing in front of him."

The 18-year-old goalie currently leads the OHL in save percentage with 0.938, and goals against average with 1.93. In 19 games with the Belleville Bulls this season Subban has a 13-6-0-0 record.

Subban's older brother P.K. was drafted 43rd overall in the second round of the 2007 NHL draft.
