PEAC PREP HOCKEY TEAM HAS GOOD SHOWING AT THE NEW ENGLAND FALL PREP HOCKEY TOURNAMENT

The PEAC PREP boys hockey team took their show on the road this labour day weekend, and competed in the NEFPSHL tournament in Salem, New Hampshire.

The teams initial weekend was very successful, although not acheiving the desirable scores, the PEAC PREP team was very happy with the work ethic, player dedication, and discipline shown by the PEAC players and coaches. Several NCAA institutions have already expressed interested in several PEAC players and given the level of competition the squad was facing after just 3 training sessions together, the PEAC coaches were happy with the results for the most part.

PEAC was able to sneak into the elimination round of the tournament, grabbing the 6th seed in the 12 team tournament. Their quarter final matchup was against a deep Western New England team that showed nice skill and execution. PEAC ended their tournament run in the quarter finals with a 3-0 loss to the Western New England team. The game featured 34 minutes in penelties against PEAC, leaving the teams to play less then 6 minutes of 5 on 5 hockey. The Western New England team went on to capture the tournament championship.
